Meet Dr. Reem L. Hallal
Dr. Reem Hallal has a passion for orthodontics and patient care. She enjoys transforming her patients’ smiles while getting to know them along the way. Dr. Hallal was born in Damascus, Syria, and moved to the United States at the age of one. She was raised in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Hallal earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Michigan. She then went on to earn her doctoral degree in dentistry from the University of Detroit Mercy.
She graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society of Dentists. After a year in the field as a general dentist, Dr. Hallal went on to earn her certificate in orthodontics as well as a Master of Science in dentistry from the University of Detroit Mercy. She practiced orthodontics in Metro Detroit for six years prior to moving to Knoxville.
Dr. Hallal maintains her skills on the leading edge of orthodontics. She has vast experience in using 3D technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in orthodontic treatment. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Hallal and her husband, Johnny, a practicing Gastroenterologist, live in Knoxville. She enjoys reading, cooking, fashion, and travel. She recently moved to Knoxville and is enjoying exploring all the beauty it has to offer. Dr. Hallal and her husband, Johnny, welcomed their beautiful bundle of joy, Leila, in late 2022. They love being parents and enjoy getting to explore new things with her as she grows.
